Pentadata API Platform for Developers

Raw data available from third-party sources used by application software developers in financial services is typically not clean enough for immediate use. Pentadata uses machine learning to create signals and value-added concepts that extract actionable information from raw consumer payment and financial data. The company sends those signals to developers via APIs.

Pentadata receives data from issuers, processors, card networks and credit bureaus that consumers have agreed to make available to third parties. Its platform, which never stores the data, gives consumers the opportunity to opt-out at any time.

The company is compliant with data protection regulations in the European Union and California, the toughest in the world. It has received SOC 2 Type 2 compliance certification, the most stringent review of privacy practices for technology companies.

Tranzactionz is a Pentadata API gaining traction among developers implementing rewards programs and card-linked offers that match cardholders to merchants. It is based on Pentadata’s access to 97% of all credit and debit card customers in the U.S. The company offers secure APIs and a no-cost sandbox to potential customers that want to test Tranzactionz and its other products.
